Pay to pin your business above organic results in the Bontro directory.
Sponsored listings let you pin your business to the top of the Bontro search directory for a fixed period. Clients searching in your area will see you first.
Two tiers:
Spotlight ($29 / 30 days) - Pinned to the top of your category in your city - Amber "Sponsored" badge on your listing card - Highlighted border to stand out from organic results - Best for: barbers, nail salons, massage therapists, and other local specialists
Featured ($79 / 30 days) - Pinned to the top across all categories in your metro area - Violet "Featured" badge on your listing card - Appears above Spotlight listings - Best for: tattoo artists, photographers, consultants, and high-ticket services
How to purchase: 1. Go to Settings -> Promote 2. Choose Spotlight or Featured 3. Click "Get Spotlight" or "Get Featured" 4. Complete checkout via Stripe 5. Your sponsorship activates immediately and runs for 30 days
How placement works: - Featured listings always appear before Spotlight listings - Within the same tier, the pro who bought first gets the top slot (first-paid, first-served) - Sponsored listings appear above all organic results regardless of distance or rating sort - Clients can see which listings are sponsored via the badge -- full transparency
Sponsorships are one-time payments -- there is no auto-renewal. When your 30 days are up, your listing returns to its organic position. You can purchase again at any time.
Your active sponsorship shows on the Settings -> Promote page with the expiry date and days remaining.
Note: Sponsored placement is a paid promotion. It does not affect your star rating, review count, or any other organic ranking factor.
