Setting up gift cards in your dashboard

Accept the ToS, create denominations, and share your gift card page.

Before clients can buy gift cards from you, you need to set up denominations in your dashboard. Here is how.

Step 1: Check eligibility Go to Dashboard → Gift Cards. If you don't meet any of the five requirements (Growth+ plan, account age ≥ 30 days, Stripe onboarded, 5+ confirmed bookings, ToS accepted), you'll see a specific message explaining which gate is open and what to do.

Step 2: Accept the Gift Card Terms of Service A one-time agreement specific to gift card sales. Read it and click "I Accept." Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp. You only need to do this once.

Step 3: Create denominations In the Denominations tab, click "Add Denomination": - Amount: Between $5 and $500 - Label (optional): What clients see on the purchase page. If left blank, shows the dollar amount (e.g., "$50 Gift Card").

You can have up to 10 active denominations at a time. Toggle any denomination inactive to hide it without deleting it. Common setups: - Single denomination: $100 (works for most service types) - Tiered: $25 / $50 / $100 / $150 for services with varying prices - Round amounts that cover your most popular services

Step 4: Share your gift card page Your public gift card page is at bontro.co/gift/your-slug. You'll see this link in the Gift Cards dashboard. Share it with clients, post it on your Instagram story, add it to your booking page bio, or link to it in a broadcast email.

Managing denominations: - Toggle the switch next to any denomination to activate/deactivate it - Click the three dots to edit the label or amount, or to delete it - Changes take effect immediately on your public gift card page
