Verifying your email address

How to verify your email and what to do if you did not receive the link.

When you create a Bontro account with an email address and password, we send a verification email to confirm you own the address. Verifying your email ensures you receive appointment notifications, reminders, and important account emails.

The verification email

After signing up, check your inbox for an email from Bontro with the subject "Verify your Bontro email." Click the Verify my email button inside. The link expires after 24 hours.

The dashboard banner

If your email is not yet verified, a blue banner appears at the top of your dashboard: "Check your inbox -- we sent you a link to verify your email address." You can dismiss the banner or click Resend to get a fresh link.

What if I don't see the email?

1. Check your spam or junk folder -- verification emails can land there 2. Search your inbox for "Bontro" 3. Click Resend in the dashboard banner to get a new link 4. Make sure you're checking the email address you used when signing up 5. If nothing works, contact support@bontro.co and we'll verify your account manually

Signed in with Google?

If you created your account by clicking "Continue with Google," your email is automatically verified. You will never see the verification banner.

Does anything stop working if I don't verify?

Your account works normally. Email verification is a security measure, not a gate. However, unverified accounts may have reduced email deliverability for notifications over time.
