Data & AI: improving your suggestions (and how to opt out)
Control whether your activity is used to improve Bontro's AI suggestions. Opt out anytime in Settings.
Bontro uses AI to make your smart suggestions better over time, like which regulars are due to rebook, the best-fit client for a waitlist opening, and who to win back. To improve those, we log which suggestions you act on. You are in control of this.
What we use When it is on, we record which AI feature you used and whether you accepted a suggestion, plus small non-sensitive details (like how many services a menu import found). This is your own account activity. It is never your clients' personal information, and it never changes how your account works or what your clients see.
How to opt out 1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Notifications. 2. Find the "Data & AI" card at the bottom. 3. Turn the toggle off.
When it is off, none of your activity is logged for improving our AI, at all. You can turn it back on any time.
Good to know - This setting is per business and can only be changed by the account owner. - Opting out does not affect your bookings, payments, reminders, or any feature. - Your clients' data is never used for this.
