Signing into the mobile app
Google sign-in, email/password, and why accounts must be created on the web.
The Bontro mobile app is for existing pros only. New accounts must be created at bontro.co before you can log into the app.
Sign in with Google: 1. Tap "Continue with Google" on the login screen 2. Select your Google account 3. You are signed in
Google sign-in requires a dev build of the app (not Expo Go). If Google sign-in does not appear or does not work, use the Email/Password tab instead.
Sign in with email and password: 1. Tap the "Email" tab on the login screen 2. Enter the email address used when you created your Bontro account 3. Enter your password 4. Tap "Sign In"
If you signed up with Google and have never set a password, use the Google sign-in option. Email/password only works if you created your account with email or have set a password through the web dashboard.
Forgot your password: Password reset is handled on the web. Visit bontro.co/auth/sign-in and click "Forgot password" to reset via email, then come back to the app.
New to Bontro? The app has a "Sign up on the web" link that opens bontro.co/signup in your browser. Complete signup there, then return to the app to sign in.
Staying signed in: Your session token lasts 30 days. After 30 days you will be asked to sign in again. The app uses secure encrypted storage for your token.
