No-show risk flags

How Bontro flags bookings that are more likely to no-show.

Bontro gives some upcoming bookings a no-show risk badge in Dashboard → Appointments so you can act before you lose the slot. It is a simple, transparent score — not a prediction about the person — based on patterns that tend to lead to no-shows.

What raises the flag: - Prior no-shows — this client has missed an appointment with you before (the strongest signal). - New client — no completed visit with you yet, so there's no track record. - No deposit collected — nothing at stake if they skip. - Long lead time — booked two or more weeks out, which is easier to forget.

What you'll see: an amber "Some risk" or red "No-show risk" badge on the booking, plus the exact reasons and a nudge to request a deposit when one wasn't collected.

We keep it quiet on purpose: a returning client in good standing is never flagged just for skipping a deposit. Only bookings with real risk signals get a badge.

What to do about it: request a deposit or a card on file, send a reminder, or confirm the time with the client. Collecting a deposit is the single most effective way to cut no-shows.

This is Bontro's first smart feature; as the platform sees more of your booking history, the flags get sharper over time.
