Help/Scheduling & Availability/Using the Walk-in Kiosk

Using the Walk-in Kiosk

Set up a tablet at your front desk so staff or clients can check in without touching your full dashboard.

The Walk-in Kiosk is a full-screen, PIN-protected tablet experience built for front desks and waiting areas. It lets your team add walk-ins and lets clients check themselves in — without giving anyone access to your full dashboard.

Availability: The kiosk is available on Business and Enterprise plans.

---

Setting up your PIN (Business plan): 1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Business 2. Scroll to the Walk-in Kiosk PIN section 3. Enter a 4–8 digit PIN and confirm it, then click Set PIN 4. Click Open Kiosk → to go to your kiosk screen

Opening the kiosk: Navigate to Dashboard → Walk-in Kiosk in the sidebar. You'll see a PIN entry screen. Enter your PIN to unlock the kiosk. If you close the tab or the browser refreshes, you'll need to re-enter the PIN — this keeps your dashboard safe on a shared tablet.

---

Staff mode: The default view. A receptionist or team member fills in: - Which service the client wants - The client's name (required) and phone (optional) - Which staff member to assign (if your team has more than one) - Internal notes

Click Add to Queue to add the appointment. The assigned pro gets a push notification immediately.

Client check-in mode: Toggle to Client mode using the button in the top-right. Flip the tablet around so the client can fill in their own name, pick their service, and choose a staff member. They tap Join Queue when ready.

---

The live queue: The right side of the kiosk shows today's upcoming appointments in time order, refreshing automatically every 10 seconds. This gives your front desk a at-a-glance view of who's coming up next.

---

Changing or clearing your PIN: Go back to Settings → Business and enter a new PIN. To disable the PIN entirely, click Clear PIN — the kiosk will be inaccessible until a new PIN is set.
