What is Bontro?

An overview of Bontro and who it is built for.

Bontro is a booking platform built for independent service professionals: barbers, nail techs, tattoo artists, massage therapists, estheticians, photographers, personal trainers, and anyone else who sells appointments.

What makes it different:

Bontro charges no commission on bookings. You keep 100% of what you charge (minus Stripe's standard processing fees of 2.9% + 30 cents). Most competing platforms charge 1-5% per booking. On 100 bookings a month at $50 each, that is $250-$1,250 walking out the door.

How it compares: - Booksy / StyleSeat: charge a percentage of every transaction or a high flat monthly fee. Bontro's Starter plan is free with no transaction fees. - Square Appointments: great for in-person POS but the booking flow is less polished for service pros with complex deposit setups. - Acuity / Calendly: more general scheduling tools, not built around service menus, deposits, or client rebooking.

Free Starter plan includes: - Up to 35 bookings per month - Full booking page with your services and availability - Email notifications for all booking events - Stripe-powered payments and deposits - Directory listing so new clients can find you

When you need a paid plan: - More than 35 bookings per month -> Growth ($19/mo) - Multiple staff members -> Growth (+$10/mo per seat) or Business - SMS reminders -> Growth (50/mo) or Business (300/mo) - White-label branding -> Business ($49/mo)
