Email notifications
Automatic emails for bookings, reminders, and more.
Bontro automatically sends email notifications for key events.
Emails sent to clients: - Booking confirmation: immediately after they book, includes a direct cancel link - 24-hour reminder: sent the day before their appointment, includes a cancel link - 2-hour reminder: sent 2 hours before the appointment - Cancellation notice: when you or they cancel, includes a "Book again" link - Reschedule proposal: when you propose a new time - Review request: about 2 hours after their appointment ends
Emails sent to you (the pro): - New booking received - Booking cancelled by client - Reschedule accepted or declined by client - New review received (toggle on/off in Settings → Notifications → Notification preferences)
All emails come from notifications@bontro.co. On the Business plan you can set a custom display name so your business name appears as the sender instead of "Bontro" — go to Settings → Notifications → Email display name.
Cancel link in emails: Every confirmation and reminder email includes a direct cancellation link so clients can cancel without having to log in or find the right page.
Test your setup: Use the "Send test" button in Settings → Notifications to fire a real test email to yourself and confirm everything is working.
