Does Bontro take a commission?
No. Bontro is 0% commission — here’s exactly what you keep.
No. Bontro never takes a commission on your bookings, payments, or tips — 0%, on every plan, in every payout mode. Unlike a marketplace, we don't sit between you and your money.
How you get paid: payments run through Stripe and land directly in your own Stripe account — Bontro never holds your money and never skims a cut. Technically, we never attach a platform fee to any charge, so 100% of what a client pays (minus Stripe's own processing fee) is yours.
What Bontro charges instead: a flat monthly subscription for your plan (see Pricing). That's it — the subscription is how Bontro makes money, not a slice of your sales. Take $50 or $50,000 in a month and Bontro's cut is the same: nothing.
The one fee that isn't ours — Stripe's: Stripe charges a standard payment-processing fee (about 2.9% + 30¢ per online transaction) to move the money. That goes to Stripe, not Bontro, and it's the same fee you'd pay using Stripe anywhere.
Multi-staff shops: money still lands 100% in your account(s) — you just choose *which* account via Payout mode (per-staff, centralized, or auto-split). See [Payout modes](/help/payments/payout-modes). Staff commission splits (Team → the staff member → Pay & commission) move money between your accounts, never to Bontro.
Tips: 100% of tips go to the pro. Bontro takes nothing from tips.
